Based on the parallel mechanism, the NC machine tool, a new kind of NC equipment, has already caused the international academic circles and the engineering universal attention and presented the widespread application prospect gradually. However, along with the unceasingly research on parallel mechanism, the insufficiencies and weakness on the parallel machine tool come to appear. For example, the singularity problem, if the mechanism occupies the singular point, the system controllability is fallible, the system rigidity and the precision all come under the influence. The purpose of this paper is to studying an experiment platform for a 2-DOF redundancy parallel machine tool, and the platform may have no singular point in effective work space through increasing a redundant kinematics chains. The kinematics analysis and the kinematics simulation of the platform are studied in this paper, and a open CNC system of the parallel machine tool is build. The mainly work of this paper is as follows:According to characteristic of 2-DOF parallel mechanism, the mathematical model of the 3-RRR parallel manipulator has been set up. And the inverse position kinematics and the DOF of the 3-RRR parallel mechanism are analyzed.Regard Windows XP as the operating platform and Visual C ++ as the programming environment, a open NC system is designed and developed; the numerical control systematic hardware platform is structured in " IPC +PMAC ". Module programming technology is adopted to design user interface and other basic modules includes the decipher module, interpolation module, the tool track simulation module, mechanism simulation module and so on.The 3-RRR Parallel mechanism has been modeled based on Pro/E, and the simulation and analyses on the parallel mechanism is done using ADAMS; the research on the machining trace of the 3-RRR parallel experiment flat has been done in the environment of ADAMS, and the correct machining trace is get.
