As the development of mankind economy, the demand of energy supply expanded. A large amount of carbon dioxide emited to atmosphere from combustion of fossil fuels causes severe environment damage and greenhouse effect. On February 16, 2005, the Kyoto Protocol that aims at reducing the emission of CO2 became effective, which made the reducing of the main greenhouse gas—CO2 an attentive problem by international countries. In the other hand, CO2 is widely used in food industry, chemical industry, agriculture, national defense, medical treatment, business, transportation and some other domain. It is well known that CO2 in flue gas is a potential resource. How to recover the CO2 effectively and economically from flue gas has long-term meaning.Method of chemical absorption is using most widely process because of its mature and availability. Among the methods, the amine absorption has good qualities of faster absorption rate, higher efficiency and so on, so it has been studied and made a rapid progress in these years. Chemical absorption was chosen in the paper. The absorbent is activated amines. Three amines chosened according to their physical and chemical characters contrasted their absorption efficiency. According to the feature of flue gas, the simulated flue gas is made up of pure carbon dioxide, pure nitrogen and the air. Orthogonal tests and single factor experiments were made in small surface absorb reactor to review the factors and efficiency of absorption.According to the experiment results above, fillings, extensive of absorbent, velocity of gas flow and concentration of activator were reviewed in the fill tower. The best condition which can be helpful to application was got.Actually, enrichment should be recycled by absorption and regeneration. The cost was determined by energy consuming of absorbent. In the experiment of regeneration, time, temperature and efficiency of regeneration were studied. "low concentration to absorb, high to regenerate" was advised in the end.Contrasting of absorption efficiency of different absorbents which have different natures was the main part of the paper. Mechanism was discussed by analyzing the nature and the component. At the end of this paper, the kinetics was studied based on experiment results and theoretical calculations of the membrane model. We selected activated DETA/TETA as the absorbent. From the results of the experiment, the absorption and regeneration efficiency is better than the traditional methods. It is testified that what we did have theory and applied price.
