It is found that Ag~+-zeolite have better ion exchange-adsorption abilities, andantibacterial properties. And it has a good foreground for watertreatment. At the same time,but there is poor report about the comparative study of the application of Ag~+-zeolites withdifferent tapes. Especially there is not report about the comparative study of ion exchangeproperties of Ag~+-zeolites. In this paper, We make some investigations about this aspect.Firstly, Tapes of Ag~+-zeolites were prepared through one-off exchang method and fitfulexchang method based with 13X, 4A and NaY zeolites respectively. The samples ofAg~+-zeolites were described by mens of SEM, AAS and XRD. We found that the 13Xzeolite and 4A zeolite were fit for the application to exchange simulation seawater as desaltagent, Becouse Of high exchange degree and carrying capacity. We found that the exchangerate of the ion exchange reaction between Ag~+ and Na~+, And it can reach to theinvariablenes in several minutes. Compare to the one-off exchang method, by the fitfulexchang method can-be reached higher exchange degree with a short time. In addition,washing and drying affect the exchange rate and the greatest exchange degree.Secondly, The comparative experiment which investigate the ability of Ag~+-zeolites withdifferent tapes between Ag~+-zeolites and simulation seawater was carried out. Thedesalting effection of tapes of Ag~+-zeolites was invisgated by chemistry method, and theprefect fill a prescription of the desalting agent was obtained.Finally, The performances of the Ag~+-zeolites were tested qualitively andquantificationally though the antibacterial "halo" method, the colony number method, thecontinuous dilution method and by dipping the carrier into the silver solution. Theexperiment measuring the antibacterial abilities of the Ag~+-zeolites showed that the lowersilicon zeolites have preferable advantages, It was found that the MIC of the 13X.zeolite. and 4A zeolite prepared by the continuous dilution method after containing withE.coli could meet 62.5mg/L, And the NaY zeolite and modenite could meet 125mg/L. Theantibacterial properties of the Ag~+-zeolites. were detected quantificationly by dipping thecarrier into the silver solution, we found, that the antimicrobial rates of them were all higherthan the standard-90ï¼…. And the the antimicrobial rate of the 13X zeolite, 4A zeolite andmordenite could respectively meet 98.6ï¼…, 97.4ï¼…and 91.3ï¼….
