The pilot of chrome -gel-flooding after polymer displacement in lanan NO.1block is for the first time that Daqing oil field introduced the technique to field experiment. The goal is to explore a way to enhance the final oil recovery for lamadian oil field leading layor I1-2. Results show that more oil is recovered, and lower water cut is obtained with improved water absorbing profile. The ratio of those wells that see positive effects is 33.3%with their water cuts decreased by 1.8% averagely. The range of water-cut reduction in a certain single well is as high as 4.1% with oil recovery enhanced by 0.8%. All above proved that chrome fliud can formed strong gel under conventional pressure on the surface..Based on these data and materials gathered from lab studies and field experiment, the chrome gel's characteristics both in static and dynamic state and it's mechanism to improve oil recovery are clear. Meanwhile , a set of methods for analysing and evaluating chrome gel's injecting and recovering properties is established which provides necessary basis for developing matching techniques to CDG..
