The Study On The Popularity Influence Of The Decorate Method On The Knitting Sweater

As a kind of knitwear, knitting sweater is an important form of fashion. However, due to the characteristics of the knitted fabric, it is not suitable to apply complicated cutting line and obsessive stitching line. In order to eliminate the monotony in its design, it is necessary to add some decoration to make up the shortness, which justifies the significance of the study on decoration in knitting sweater design.Since the implementation of opening-up policy, with the rapid development of domestic economy, China has gradually stepped into a consumer age, when fashion culture became an influential factor determining the consumer trends. Since the last decade of the 20th century, affected by fashion trend, knitting sweater has been more and more outer clothing, which requires even closer attention to the correlation between sweater decoration design and fashion trend.This thesis aims to analyze and summarize the development of knitted sweater design from the perspective of fashion. It also tries to study the correlation between fashion element and sweater decoration design, and further explore innovative methods to do sweater decoration design. It mainly focuses on fashion phenomenon as well as its leading role in decoration design. Beginning with the study on fashion, it comes up with the role fashion trend plays in fashion design. Then through a review of the development of sweater design, it points out the correlation between the sweater decoration design and fashion trend by exemplification and contrast. Based on the review and summary, it defines the exact leading role fashion plays in specific sweater decoration design. It finally predicts the trend of sweater decoration design based on the above conclusion and current fashion trend as well.
