The computer knitting machine which is the crystallization of development onthe three terms of mechanical, electronic, textile is high technology content of textileequipment. After China’s development in recent years, domestic computer knittingmachines and its technologies have a rapid development. Not only the machineequipment precision, accuracy and stability of control system are having a rapiddevelopment, but also on the aspects of the subsequent matched textile technologyeditor software. Now the mainstream process software of domestic computer knittingmachines is Picasso, Hengqiang and so on. Although there is no great gap of functionsbetween these software, the domestic software has a certain distance compared withGermany M1mainly because of the basis of the software design. The basis ofdomestic software design is the machine, according to the computer knitting machinework principle to design software. However, the design of the German M1system isbased on the knitting process. It really does well in the knitting process design andfabric simulation, which the domestic software has not reached. There will be a lot ofdifficulties if we let the domestic computer knitting machine to make high precisionfabrics.Aiming at this problem, this article elaborates domestic computer knittingmachine and its process design software development from the knitting industrydevelopment trend, introducing the sweater design software development status.Analyze domestic computer knitting machine and its process software developmentand present the ideas and solutions of this paper according to the development statusof sweater design software at home and abroad. After analyzing the problems, Ireferenced the domestic and foreign advanced knitting process and softwaretechnology of the computer knitting machine, using the object-oriented designconcept to design the overall scheme of the system. And I have found the keynotes ofthe various problems, using the modular design way to solve the various problemsrespectively. Then on the basis of working principle of the computerized flat knittingmachine and wool sweater design and different parts of the retractable needle algorithm, the computer flat knitting machine design software framework, differentfunction module and its program design which are designed in the subject wassystematically introduced.The development platform of the system is Windows XP. Microsoft VisualStudio2005is used as a programming tool for this system. C#is selected as adevelopment language. The Access database, text files are used as data storage carrier.The system is developed in the methods of object-oriented design thought andmodular. The system will be divided into eight modules, which include landingmodule, registered module, data calculation module, graphic display module, patterndesign module, documents into modules, process single modify module, help module,etc. According to the basic principle of the design of the software, the stability,friendly, concealment, scientific and the logic design thought is followed to design thesystem. Make the modules organic combine together in line with the integrity functionof each module. Highlight textile knitting characteristics. The knitting process is usedas the starting point of design, with a sweater design concept as the focus of systemdesign. The mass usage custom is used as system design direction. In graphicsimulation module, the40kinds of basic computer knitting machine woven actiongraphic unit is used as the based pattern of graphic simulation. The text files are usedas the save objects of graphic information. The complete pattern editing, modifyingfunction and the mouse positioning system are designed. The subsequent patterndesign and modification are ensured. The primary and secondary modules aredistinguished clearly, which makes the coordination, the stability, accuracy of systemguaranteed. Finally summary of the research results are made. The deficiencies of theprocess design software are referred, and a prospect is made.
