Jingdezhen kiln, one of the most famous kilns in the ancient China, has a long history. Its quality porcelains known at home and abroad, even be deemed to the representation of Chinese ceramics. In this paper it was studied on the technical and historical evolution of the low temperature yellow glaze porcelains made in Jingdezhen. It comprehensive analyzed and studied the technological meaning of them. The value information of the papers is offered science basis for identification ancient ceramics and recovered the traditional technical. In this paper methods such as EDXRF, TEM EPMA, XPS and thermal expansion instrument were used to testing the chemical compositions, microstructure, firing temperature, the valence state of coloring element and physical properties. The chemical compositions and microstructure of body, yellow glaze, white glaze and interlayer about samples were systematically studied; the results of firing temperature and physical properties were testing and calculated. The technical and processing were discussed. Through comprehensive studied the low temperature yellow glaze porcelains made in Jingdezhen, this essay induced and summarized the change patterns and basic features. The results showed Jingdezhen-made low temperature yellow glaze was clarity colored glazed what had fusing agent with lead and coloring element with iron. The chemical compositions of the low temperature yellow glaze were changed slightly except the MinGuo samples which had crystals with antimony element in the glaze. Otherwise, some value informations were found, such as engobe were found under the yellow glaze of part samples. At the other hand, through the comparative analysis of the produces of Tang Dynasty of Xiao kiln, ShouZhou kiln and tri-colored kiln, it were further analyzed the feature and developing process of the low temperature yellow glaze porcelains made in Jingdezhen.
