Research On Anti-explosivity Mechanisms And Additives Combination Technology Of New Modified Ammonium Nitrate

After agricultural ammonium nitrate was administered as dangerous explosive,many equipments that produced ammonium nitrate were ceased and the use of ammonium nitrate was limited strictly which made the related resources become waste. In this paper, three kinds of additives were selected to add into the ammonium nitrate which was produced by Petrochina JiLin Petrochemical Company Fertilizer Factory in order to change the property of ammonium nitrate. After modification, the anti-explosivity of ammonium nitrate satisfied the new national criterion and modified ammonium nitrate was irrestorable. At last, the mechanisms of anti-explosivity were put forward.Firstly, heat stability of some modification additives were researched by thermogravimetric analysis, three additives that can improve heat stability of ammonium nitrate evidently were chosen according to the thermogravimetric analysis results. In consideration of local conditions and traits of industrializa- tion production, 14 prescriptions were designed through orthogonal design experiment. Then through appraising the dehydration performance, fluidity performance, solidification performance, granulated fertilizer intensity and anti-explosivity, new formulas of agricultural modified ammonium nitrate that satisfied national criterion were chosen. Finally local production experience offer help in confirming the final prescription.Secondly, experiments of fertilizer effect showed that fertilizer effect of new modified ammonium nitrate is superior to that of normal one. And the irrestorability of modified ammonium was validated through familiar separate methods.Finally, anti-explosivity mechanisms of new modified ammonium nitrate were put forward through detailed analysis on normal and modified ammonium nitrate by using thermogravimetric- differential thermal analysis, SEM ,XRD and so on.
