Study Of Multiphase Flow Online Metering Based On Open Channel Flow

A new multiphase flow online metering without separation system was developed aimed at high water cut of the east oilfield such as Shengli oilfield in this thesis. A great deal of researches and experiments had done indoors so as to simulate the field situation.The principle of the measurement system is that the measurement models of liquid and gaseous phase can be built up by the open channel flow law, and the flow rates of liquid and gaseous phase have certain relationship with the signals collecting from the equipment. The flow rates of liquid and gaseous phase can be calculated by these measurement models, and the water cut can be measured by the U pipe. After adjustment, the flow rate of oil, gas and water can be figured out.First, the development of foreign and domestic multiphase flow meters and the category of recent multiphase flow meters have been introduced, and then foreign and domestic main products have been simply introduced.The linearly dependent of the collecting data has been quantitative analysis in this thesis. According to the results, different characteristic parameters have been selected for different flow regime. And then the experimental data has been sorted, classified and calculated. Artificial neural network also has been founded to deal with the experimental data, and the results have been compared with the results calculated by the measurement model.Indoor experiments proof that the relative error of liquid phase is within±10%, and the absolute error of water cut is within±2%, and the relative error of gaseous phase is within±20%. The measurement precision of this flow meter can approach and meet the need of oilfield.Shortages and disadvantages of this flow meter have been analyzed. And a new type of flow meter has been designed.
