This paper first summarized the development and advantages of thegas-phase linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). In the last few years,the production process technology of polyethylene (PE) in the world hasdeveloped rapidly. After the industrial production of condensing techniquein the gas-phase LLDPE plant, the polyethylene companies using gas-phaseprocess have invented the MAO metal catalyst, which is in accordance withthe condensing technique and has be industrialized. The properties(mechanical properties, sealing at high temperature, anti-low temperature,oil-resistant and printing) of LLDPE produced using the new technique areimproved. At the same time, the LLDPE have the good market needbecause of the low production costs. Therefore, the LLDPE plant of QiLuwas improved using the condensing technique with the MAO metal catalyst,matching the process technology of polyethylene. According to the presentsituation of QiLu LLDPE plant, product properties and limitations, as wellas the process technology (including slurry catalyst technique) used in thecondensing technique improvement, which were investigated, This paperdecided the condensing technique improvement schemes and methods.Through the detailed discussion of the process and result of the newtechnique, product properties, production ability and energy consumption,in the end, the advantages of the plants after condensing techniqueimprovement were analyzed and summarized.
