Electro luminescent materials are the substances that give out lights when excitedby electric field. From last century, electroluminescence materials especially organicelectroluminescence materials have arisen great interests due to their high fluorescencequantum yield, easy to process and good thermal stability, which can be used as flatdisplay materials. With the appropriate design of structure, anthracene derivatives canbe used as fine electro luminescent materials. In this task, we synthesized thealternating polymer of anthracene with DPP and anthracene with Carbazole, both ofthem are materials with good thermal property and optical property. In this thesis, the latest developments of the research on EL materials werereviewed. The characteristic of organic EL materials was summarized, Furthermore, the influence of how to improve the EL property by alternate was analyzed from thefunction and mechanism. Anthracene has the potential application to used as ELmaterials because of its planar and and perfect furthermore property. What's more, both DPP and Carbazole have fine capability of electro transfer. The alternatingpolymer of anthracene with DPP and anthracene with Carbazole were synthesized, with the structure of intermediate characterized by ~1H-NMR and final product by~1H-NMR, DSC, TGA and GPC respectively. Finally, we studied the UV, PL and thethermal property of the desired polymer and model polymer, achieving the conclusionthat they have good fluorescence quantum yield, easy to resolve and can be used infilm configation. To sum up, the research turns out to be a fundamental innovation on moleculedesign of new EL materials.
