As the friction of fluid and the surface of the pipe interior wall, a large number ofenergy is wasted by the drag in ship navigation and pipeline transportation of oil andgas. But today we are building "economized society", drag reduction and energyconservation are a hotspot in the world. The low surface energy coating has goodhydrophobicity. If it has special texture structure, we can make it reduce drag andnoise. It has bright prospects in military and civil industry.In this thesis, a series of fluorinated acrylate resin were synthesized by free radicalsolution polymerization according the requirement of drag reduction and noisereduction. Such as FC-1 homopolymers and FC-2 copolymers. The coatings with lowsurface energy were prepared by them and modifying them. The contact angle ofsmooth film was 118°. The contact angle of minor roughness film was 151°, and ithad excellent hydrophobic performance.The main factors were confirmed by the orthogonal experiment of basic formulain the synthesis procedure. At the same time, the impacts of factors were analysed.Then we got the best formula and synthesis process. FC-2 was added into FEVEfluorocarbon coating as an additive, and the contact angle was approach to 118°, ithad hydrophobic property, and the synthesis process repeatability and formula werevery good.The hydrophobicity were improved by two methods that FC-1+HXT andFC-2+modified HXT. At the same time, this paper studied the coating formula.Because the two films had minor roughness, they got the hydrophobicity, and thecontact angle was up to 151°. The hydrophobic stability was improved greatly. But ifthe coating is applied in exterior house, it should be improved continuously. Becausethe paper studied on drag-reducing coating of the interior house, this film had positiveeffect in drag reduction for a long time with no the ultraviolet.At last, drag-reducing effects of epoxy resin, epoxy asphalt, low surface energycoatings were tested by the equipment and the aided testing software in different inletwater pressures. The results showed that FC-2 had more effective than the previoustwo in drag reduction, the best drag-reducing effect was 21.72%. The paper alsodiscussed the mechanism of drag reduction.
