Conditioning procedure is the key step that determines the quality of extruded productionand productivity .However, the conditioning equipment of the YJP100t/d extruder is unperfect.Itadopts manpower to meet the producing demand. This kind of method is very difficult to insuremixing homogeneity, and will be influenced by man observably. This will influence the qualityof products and production efficiency directly. Moreover, because the manual work is very greatand the production efficiency is low, it is very difficult to meet the needs of industrialization.Aconditioner for the YJP100t/d extruder was designed in this paper. The paper mainly includes the following several contents:Firstly, the conditioner of extruder was designed, studied, finished, installed and debuggedin this study.Secondly, the performance of conditioner was discussed. The study used the two factors andfive levels two orthogonal rotation mix design tests, using regression analysis to explore therelationship between conditioning system parameters and mixing homogeneity, flux of material, power consumption, the rudimental material in conditioner and resorting time. The optimalconditioning parameters were determined.Regarding mixing homogeneity as the main index, flux of material, current, the rudimentalmaterial in conditioner and resorting time as the secondary indexes, the best parameters are:rotational speed 373 r/min—477 r/min; paddle angle 37°~48.5°. Some work was done inorder to verify the feasibility and rationality of the optimized technics. Finally, some projects and suggestions of automatic control system were provided to solvesome existing problems of conditioner in the last part.
