| The output of China building ceramic has been the no.1 for continuously 13 years, and the building ceramic plays an important role in the national economy and the social activities. However, as the economy and creative society is now the mainstream in China, the building ceramic industry meets a lot of problems, such as low environmental protection, high energy-consuming, and low product attachment value, etc. As a result, a comprehensive and effective technology innovation system for building ceramic is necessary to improve the industry competition, and it is also according to China's mainstream development strategy. The project has extremely significances for the building ceramic industry.The thesis firstly studies the background of the technology innovation system for the building ceramic, the developing trends of technology innovation in domestic and foreign country, and also relative theories for the innovation and its system. After comprehensive investigation in several main ceramic-producing areas, the author summarized three stages for technology innovation for building ceramic and their problems. A technologyinnovation mode is further constructed, and some suggests are proposed to construct a comprehensive and effective technology innovation. The demonstration researches are carded out on how to select industry-study-research mode, how to protect the intellectual property rights, and how to construct enterprise technology innovation system.
