Liquid- liquid extraction is the classical sample preparation method for liquid sample. It has some merits likes high recovery, good reproducibility and low cost, but also has some deficiencies, such as sample volume was limited, multiple of enrichment is not enough, analytical procedures is more complex, a large of solvent used is easy to harmful for human and environment. Solid phase extraction (SPE) developed recently which using solid material as sorbent to extract analyte from liquid sample. It may realize enrichment and purification of analyte by selective absorption and selective eluting. It has some advantages such as easier operation, high efficiency and less environment pollution.SPE can be divided into cartridge SPE and disk SPE. The solid phase of disk SPE is a filtrate film which likes a disk. As the cross-sectional area increases, it has faster flow than cartridge SPE and suitable enrichment of a large volume of environment water samples. This method has become more and more applications in domestic and abroad. In this paper, pretreatment methods using SPE for extraction of four kinds of organic environment pollutants in water sample are studied series and following test methods have been developed. The four organic environment pollutants include phenols compound, organochlorine pesticides, organophosphorus pesticide and polychlorinated biphenyls.SPE column filled using domestic GDX-502 resin which has high and selective adsorption for phenols compound be conducted with automated extraction devices to enrichment the phenols compound from water, then phenols compound were detected by high pressure liquid chromatography. The results show that the average recovery for 1L water samples is a range of 81.6%-110% with precision low than 9.2%.The Analytical method of 16 organochlorine pesticides in water sample using disk SPE with gas chromatography and electron capture detector was established based on the SPE and chromatography analysis condition optimized The results show that the average recovery for 1L water samples is 74.1%-104% with precision between 3.4%-17%.It has developed the test method of 13 organophosphorus pesticides in water by disk SPE followed by gas chromatography with flame photometric detector. The SPE and chromatography analysis condition were optimized in the paper. The results show that the average recovery for 1L water samples is in the range from 66.4% to 107% with precision of 2.2%-16%.Established the measure method of the polychlorinated biphenyls enrichment by disk SPE from water followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determination. The SPE and chromatography analysis condition were optimized in the paper. The results show that the average recovery for 1L water samples is a range of 83.2%-95.1% with precision low than 10%.In the paper, the series test methods have been developed for analysis of the organic pollutants in water samples using SPE, the methods established are simple, fast, sensitive and low contamination. These can be applied to analysis of organic pollutants above in groundwater, surface water, and drinking water and wastewater samples.
