Research And Application Of Casing Drilling Technology In Shengli Oil Field

Based on plentiful documents investigation and practical methods research, also targeting to construct initial technical base and developing frame plan of casing drilling technology, the full-length paper has summarized the successful experience and beating lessons from foreign application of the technology. Then, depending on the theory analysis result of security evaluation on BHA of casing drilling that can be used in surface hole, optimized technical program on BHA and drilling recommendation have formed. After this, necessary technical condition such as drilling rigs, tools, geological condition, well model and section in Shengli oil field has been selected for the application of casing drilling technology. Considering drilling equipment and tools condition, this article also has worked out the developing plan on critical equipment and tools for casing drilling. Based on these, surface hole pilot experiment plan for casing drilling had formed, which has taken geological environment of Shengli shallow ocean oil field into account. As we respected, the procedure of the first casing drilling test was safe and successful. But technical question has still been summarized and studied. So, useful technical improvement and better tools can be used in the second well. Thus, even better technical index appeared. From then on, depending on useful experience and the technology obtained from the pilot test and the investigation of foreign technology, in two aspects, technical developing framed structure on casing drilling has formed.The application of casing drilling technology in Shengli oil field indicated that the technology has wide innovation space and developing potentiality. In addition, through further improvement, casing drilling system can better oil & gas reservoir exploitation and lower synthetic cost of medium-deep wells. So, this technology has a wider foreground.
