With the increasing development of gasoline cleaning,limitation for contents of alkenes,sulfur and benzene in gasoline is much stricter. Since the output of high standard clean gasoline is very limited in Dagang Petrochemical Company,some measures have been taken to reduce the content of alkenes and sulfur in gasoline. But it is more difficult to reduce the content of benzene. So a method is put forward that we can construct a benzene extractive apparatus which can separate benzene from gasoline and reduce its content in gasoline. On the other hand,separating benzene can satisfy the demand of benzene products in the market. This article contrasts all kinds of benzene extraction technologies at home and abroad and optimizes the SUPER-SAE-II aromatic hydrocarbon extraction technology developed by Beijing Jinweihui Company. It adopts cyclobutyl sulfone as solvent. Also the article studies the feasibility of the technology. After the operation of benzene extraction apparatus,a good result is got that recovery ratio of benzene is 99.19% and crystallizing point is above 5.4℃. It can produce 10,346 tons benzene one year and the contents of benzene in No93 and No97 gasoline reduce from 1.18% and 1.64% to 0.45% and 0.49% respectively,which solves the problem of high content of benzene in gasoline and gets an extensive economic benefit...
