In order to increase the speed of the mould manufacturing and according to the mould material's hard machining and work piece's complexity, we proposed a new technology of EDM machining—High Efficiency ED-Milling Machining, which is based on conventional EDM molding machining. With the existing experimental condition, we adopt the method in which the principal research is linked with the experiment. In order to compliment the high efficiency of ED Milling machining, we put our efforts to research the following three part: the circulating system of working fluid, the module of discharge condition detection, the control system of FNN (fuzzy neural net).On the basis of a great lot of literatures, we conclude the most important factors which can affect the efficiency of the ED-Milling. According to the principals and traits of the High Efficiency ED-Milling Machining, we proposed a whole project design and finished the researching and the manufacturing of the machining tool, which is concluded by the rebuilding of the machine and the designing and debugging of the electric part. After the analysis and research of some kinds of common used discharge condition detection methods, we designed, which is innovated, a multi-information fusion system which can be used for object identifying. In this system, we use, which is innovated, the FNN (fuzzy neural net) to syncretize the voltage data and current data. In this way, the discharge condition can be well and truly identified. For the sake of high efficiency and steadily manufacturing, we designed, which is innovated, an aptitude servo control system which is based on fussy neural control technology. Also, we give the different calculating methods for each controller which is based on different function.At the end of this paper, we did some groove machining experiment on the machining tool and did some analyses. After these experiments, we conclude the relationship between the machining process and the machining rule. At the same time, we validate the correctness of the design and the reliability of the control system.
