The process of residue hydrocracking in slurry phase has profits to upgrading inferior heavy oil with the characters of integrate hydrogenation and decarbonization. Sameness like other process there is a problem of coking on the face of reactor. For Klamy residue as raw materials, series of reacts were conducted in an autoclave under the presence of coke-carrier having high specific surface area. The law which of that coke-carrier affords the site of coke-depositing to reduce coking in reactor was investigated.A series of slurry phase hydrocracking experientment was conducted applying a time ordering method to observe the effection. A method was establishment to appraise the effect of coke deposit on the coke-carrier and to appraise some different solid grain. Certain relations were studied that the effect of the coke-carrier adsorbing coke with the property of the feed and surface. The conclusion showed as follows:(1) The coke-carrier influences the progress of residue hydrocracking and inhibits the congregate of the coke-precursors, and postpones the time of induce of coking and reduces the amount of coke in a certain extent. The grain could afford the particle site for the coke formation so that to decrease the granularity and to adsorb the hydrocarbon having more heteroatom.(2) On the condition of experientment being selected there is a certain feasibility using the hanging metal slice to characterize and to reveal the rule which the behavior of coking on the surface of reactor. The amount of addition and the specific surface area, different activity and solvent and so on play an important rule on the efficacy of the coke-carrier.(3) Type and condition of the react and property of the feed could affect the sediment of surface. Saturate of the feed has the negative contribution to the rate of coking on the surface of coke-carrier, by contraries Aromatics and Resins and Asphaltene have the positive contribution. The Carbon Residue could be used to macro-characterize the trend of coking on the grain owing to the property of the feed.
