The research on the laws of the overlying strata destruction is the foundationof the reasonable determination of the mining boundary, and is the key of theproduction safety of mining under the water bearing stratum. This research hasthe vital significance to the special mining theory, the decision of the waterconducted zone survey plan, the gain of the accurate parameter of the destroyedoverlying Strata and the instruction of the safety.This paper first analyzed the influence factor of the height of caving zoneand water conducted zone, and separately analyzed the main influence factor, suchas the overlying strata characteristic and its mining method. And it analysisthe overlying strata forming mechanism, the develop process and the fullestdevelopment time. This paper summarizes many research methods of the overlyingstrata, and does the research on example with the living method and the numericalsimulation.And in the value simulation analysis, it has carried on the sensitive analysisto several important attributes in view of the influence to water conducted zonedevelopment, analyzed the developmental changes with the change of the miningheight, the inclination angle as well as the mining step of distance invalue.With the increase of the mining height, the height of the water conducted zoneincreases obviously, and the relationship in value isa fraction function. Withthe increase of the inclination angle, the height of the water conducted zoneincreases also obviously, andthe difference is the degree.
