Dense-medium coal separation is an advanced coal selecting method. Dense-medium feeding is very important in dense-medium coal separation.Based on the modem control theory, SCM thecnology, and servo motor control thecnology, the paper realizes the design of the High-Medium Auto-feeding Link and the Density Auto-controlling system, and accomplishes the development and debugging the core of control system—the controlle, which completes the High-Medium Auto-feeding and the Density Auto-adjusting, recods the consumption of the medium automaticlly, and owns the following advantages: precise density measure and control, good real time.In the hardware design, multichannel analog switch CD4052 adopted to collect signals resolving the problem of various signals examination in time sequence, programmable amplifier LTC6910-1 adopted to improve the accuracy of the data examination under the resolution keeping constant.The software adopts the idea of modularization design. It includes the arithmetic PID, the control arithmetic of mixing, the control arithmetic of analog circular measuring, and control arithmetic of keybord. For increasing the degree of system integration, the system uses one bus series communication protocol devised by the author himself between master and slave controller. There being many disturbance elements in the control system, some anti—disturbance measures are applied in the measure tunnels and controltunnels.Software and hardware debugging proved the usefulness of the controller. It can be used as a single machine, also can join with industrial computer by RS232 or RS485 standard.
