With the development of the iron and steel industry, electromagnetic technology has been used widely in the steel production process, particularly in the areas of continuous casting. Solidification and forming of liquid metal technology has become important means of improving metal performance and developing new materials. In recent years, with the development of clean steel and ultra-clean steel, the equiaxed grain rate is improved under existing conditions maximally, making solidification composition and distribution of inclusions more uniform, making electromagnetic stirring technology mature increasingly urgent .This paper, the present development status of the domestic and international electromagnetic metallurgy theory was analyzed, aim to the electromagnetic stirring technology of secondary cooling zone of a domestic steel plant's silicium steel and ship plate steel, different parameters on the impact of microstructure slab was studied, in terms of low times structure and phase analysis of casting blank columnar crystals and crystal axis ratio were determined. Based on internal quality analysis of plant and equiaxed ratio optimize the parameters of the electromagnetic stirring, minimum organization and uniform compositions of the csting slab to guide production.
