This paper is based on the research of classical contact analysis and Finite Element Method (FEM) contact analysis. We contrasted the two means. The classical contact analysis is convenient. It based on the elastic and plastic theory .But when the parts are complex, the classical contact analysis is limited. Finite Element Method is broadly used. It can simulate the process and help engineers observe the situation, it can forecast the limitation. Based on these data, we can change the figure of the matrix .Bycontrasting the two methods, we got FEM is credibility.Process of finite element method dealing with contact problem is discussed. Choice of contact elements, establishing finite element model, portion of grid, establishing contact pairs, loading and solution are researched. Thesis for the whip antenna of the taper to three kinds degrees die under the inflation-processing elastic-plastic analysis Antenna has been governing the node stress, strain, displacement, obtained control of the antenna size plastic deformation. Forecast the problem of spring back of the pipe in mechanical expanding. By changing the form of the matrix, the probability of the limitation can be reduced.
