Developmental Philosophy And Sustainable Development

The philosophy is the essence of the age's spirit, and it must reflect the time. In recent years, peace and development is the subject of the time. However, the main problem of our time is how to deal with the survival crisis. Since the human society had entered the industry civilization, because the humanity has conquered, rebuilt, plundered and devoured the natural, the new problem the humanity faces is the natural crisis. And this crisis will cause human's survival crisis finally. This is the basic feature that is different from the former time, and the reconsideration and the solution of this problem is the unique subject of our time. There with, the philosophy as the essence of the age's spirit cannot but pay attention to the problem of the human survival. This article starts with the historical inspection and the scientific theory analysis from the concept of developing, analyzes the time connotation of developmental philosophy; reviews and interprets the philosophical basis of the modern west developmental concept, the value crisis and ethics crisis of the modern west developmental concept in multi-dimension. Then it has concluded that the modern west developmental concept is materially an unsustainable development concept. Finally, from relations of the human and the nature, the society and the natural, the article expatiates we should remold the natural's ontological status and a new humanitarianism idea and move toward the sustainable development.The article is divided into three parts:The first part is the connotation elementary theory of the developmental philosophy time. Firstly, it differentiates and analyses the development concept, elaborates the similarities and the differences between the developmental concept and the concepts of the movement, the change, the evolution, and the progressive concept, divides the developmental philosophy from developmental science, makes it clear that the developmental science provides the knowledge of developmental rules and the developmental philosophy provides the function or the thought for the people. The developmental philosophy is the development concept, and what he wants to answer is the theory of value question of how should people view the development. And therefore, it reviews and analyzes the historical evolution of the development concept.The second part is the crisis problem of modern west development concept. What the development reflected is the relationship between the people and the world. The world outlook which has the ultimate explanation of the world and the people is playing the role which influences the development concept subtly. Therefore, on the basic of concrete analysis of the mechanism philosophy, differentiation of the subject and object and the objectivity thinking mode, it concludes that whatever under the control of the mechanism philosophy or differentiation of the subject and the object, the development concept is not sustainable. At the same time, because the traditional development concept is built on the philosophy faith premise of the development is natural reasonable, the affirmation of the development value is blind, unconditional, which has caused the forgetting of rational appraisal of the modern development concept and caused the blurry orientation of the value in development practice and has caused the value crisis of the modern development concept. The development natural reasonable theory has further drawn out the principle could do is should do, which is exactly another value about ethics problem. Sticking on natural reasonable theory of development will definitely initiate ethics crisis of the modern development concept.The third part elaborates the philosophical basis of the sustainable development. Since World Environment and Development Committee has proposed explicitly the sustainable development in the special report our conjunct future in 1987, the sustainable development thought arouses the various countries' widespread interest. Especially in 1992, the UN Environment and Development congress convened in Brazil, passed 21st century agenda, and the sustainable development then became the worldwide hot topic. The sustainable development is not only a development path, a new development model, but also a new development concept. According to our conjunct future, the sustainable development is not only meets the present generation's needs, but also not threaten the needs of the future generations'ability. The sustainable development should not only realize the survival and the development of this generation, but also realize the sustainable survival and the development of the humanity posterity. So it must adjust relations of the person and the nature and establish the harmonious relations between the person and the nature and remold the natural ontological status; at the same time, the sustainable development concept requests to establish a new humanitarianism concept, complete from individual standard to kind standard, realize the transformation from the absolute main body consciousness to the limited main body consciousness and from real-life consciousness to the future consciousness.
