Iron phthalocyanine sulfonates(FePcS)is a kind of novel biomimetic photocatalyst, which analogous to cytochrome P-450.It can response to a wide range of visiblelight.has high catalytic efficiency, and optical characteristics of a good thermal stability. In recent years,it has aroused extensive attention as novel photocatalyst to deal with dyeing wastewater. This peper used phthalicanhydride.chlorosulfonic acid as raw materials for the synthesis of "fragments"-Sulfonated phthalicanhydride. And then used ferrous sulfate as "template".by the reaction.synthesized iron phthalocyanine quasulfonates. And discussed the following factors.reaction temperature, time, and the impact of catalyst in the reaction.Products were characterized by FT—IR.XPS and the nitrogen content was determined by the micro-Kjeldahl method.By those methods it proved that the object has been successfully synthesized.Under the visible light irradiation, this catalyst was highly efficient for the degradation of nonbiodegradable malachite green in aqueous solution with the concentration of FePcS 0.1×10-2mg/L.concentration of H2O2 1.3×10-3mmol/L, with decoloration rate of more than 90%CODCrremoval rate above 80%.Experiments show that FePcS as a low-power,high-efficiency catalyst for the treatment of dyeing wastewater, has a prefect perspective usage in the field of photo-catalysed dyeing wastewater.
