In this thesis, an equation of state applicable for uniform and non-uniform fluids is constructed based on the WCA perturbation theory. The interfacial and nucleation properties for spherical fluids predicted by this equation of state agree well with the computer simulation data. Beside the application for spherical fluids, this equation of state is also able to describe the bulk, interfacial and nucleation properties for chainlike fluids, e.g., polymers. On the basic of the investigation of the phase behavior for spherical and chain like pure fluids, this equation of state is extended to the bulk and nucleation properties for binary mixture of SC-CO2 and model copolymers. The results quantitatively address the influence of the chain length on the bulk and nucleation properties for copolymers SC-CO2 mixture at the condition of intermediate pressure and temperature.
