From the mechanism of electric conduction in fly ash, the influence mechanism of alkali element, such as lithium, sodium, potassium, to dielectric quality in fly ash is researched through lots of experiments and profound analyses in the formation of fly ash and theory of coal dust combustion. Size sieving method, method of soaking by distilled water and ion migrating under high voltage are eventually chosen as effective means to alter the contents of lithium, sodium and potassium in fly ash. We prepare the ash samples with different contents of alkali element by three means above, and analyze the influence of the content and morphosis of lithium, sodium, potassium to the specific resistance in fly ash. Moreover, the mechanism of lithium, sodium and potassium element to volume resistivity and surface resistivity is clear, referencing the morphosis of alkali compound in coal and analyzing the combustion process.
