Nowadays, the coal transportation of the railway generally used the flatcar in China. Because the jolting which the roadbed, the rail switch and the rail facility created, in addition the wind action and so on each kind of reason enabled in the vehicles the coal surface layer coal to scatter the ground,which not only led to the loss of coal and coal dust pollution, but also to the rail transport have serious safety incidents and hidden dangers. There were many ways to prevent the the coal scatters, for example: The machinery capping , the canvas cover, sprays the dust suppression and so on. Chemistry dust suppression is one of the most effective way to dust prevention and it was developing since had appeared. my thesis was to apply chemistry dust suppression technology in the coal dust control domain.The prime task of my thesis was to develop or choose one kind of appropriate dust suppression, which could reduces the coal loss in the transportation through the way that sprayed the dust suppression to cover the coal surface. Firstly the application method and the dosage of the urea resin and the polyurethane dust suppression was confirmed.the biological form dust suppression was prepared successfully. Then we carried these kind of dust suppression on field experiment,and summarized the field experiment. We had further developed the modified biological form and the acrylic acid modified lignosulfonate form dust suppression, The modified biological form and the acrylic acid modified lignosulfonate form dust suppression preparation craft, the dosage, the exploitation conditions was determined according to several field experiments. Through the national coal quality surveillance test center's analysis test result, we knew that this dust suppression didn't influence the coal's quality. Comparing these two kind of dust suppression we knew taht The use effect and the cost difference were closest,but preparation craft was obviously different. The field experiments in different season proved thart the dust suppression could be annual used. The field experiments by different load way indicated that the vehicle load way did not influence the use of dust suppression. Weighing the coal trains what used and had not used the dust suppression, indicated that we could reduce the coal lose about 200-300 kilograms per vehicle after used the dust suppressions, it not only had the economic efficiency also had the environment benefit.This paper's main innovative points including many kinds of adhesives served as the dust suppression. We realized that the starch was oxidized in the air though using the appropriate catalyst under the low temperature firstly, in modified biological form dust suppression preparation process.
