At Presant injectiong mold is designed by experience on gating and cooling system,which is not optimized and contain soppusing and guessing.Besides,this kind of design is checked or validated through die setting.If die setting is faied,the design will have to be done again,which may be a long and reduplicative progress and envn the best result can not be gotten.This kind of traditional mode about design and die setting have many localization and limitation:be short of theorial gist,can not guratee the gate balace and the cooling quality,can not forecast technic project and warp,distortion,weld lines of plastic part. So prolonging the developing period,the technics being unstable,being not able to product continuely,die maintain so more,wasting so much cost,and so on is the ultimate rusult.Aiming at the localization of traditional mode about design and die setting,based on theory of flowing of the polymer, this paper create CAE finite model by Moldflow software,and carry through CAE finite unit analyse about gating and cooling system,and compare two different scheme on them both.Through comparing simulating result about the filling,packing,warp,rezidental stress,air trap as the example of a kind of bumper ,the best gating and cooling scheme is receivedIn technical optimization , simulation of die setting is carried on ,which is alomost ignored or rarelly mentioned.By virtue of Process Setting Wizard of Moldflow,die setting, a type of 2800 tone injection molding machine is simulated on this bumper,with which three important parameters about injection molding machine of temperature ,time,pressure also is setuped.In the same time,five segment injectiong often used in practice is simulated,which can guarantee the process to be the best and debug engineer can be on the referance of.The research of this paper combine CAE analyse,3D design and CAE die setting,which is validated by practice and have valuable impact.With this kind of model of design and analyse,quality of part can promoted maximumly and molding period ruduced more.Cost on design, manufacture and mold repairing can be reduced much more.
