The injection molding, which has advantages of high speed, full automatic processing, with a friendly environment and the ability of making out complex and precision parts in one time, has been widely applied in many fields, such as the electronics,automobile,3C(computer, communication, consumption) industries etc. However, it is difficult to design mold,obtain reasonable process parameters and control the process for traditional injection molding. In this paper, injection molding of phone with different volume two-cavity is regarded as the research object,based on numerical simulation software Moldflow/MPI, the study is distributed into the optimization of injection molding key systems and process parameters.It is important question to build and mesh finite element model in analysis which is associated with the accuracy of result. Applying the Moldflow software, which is powerful tool of getting best gate, forecasting the possible defects of plastic part in the process of injection.finally the best projections of filling system and cooling pipes are detained by comparing various ways. Introducing the CAE can reduce the times of molding test molding mend, shorten the circle of the design and manufacture of mold, and lessen the cost of production.
