In 1980s,laser texturing was researched in Metallurgical Research Centre(CRM)of Belgium for the first time.Because laser texturing technique is better than shot blast texturing,electrical discharge texturing and other texturing techniques in terms of machining method,enhancing the forming properties of steel sheet,luminance brightness,and synthetical cost,it has been favored by steel enterprises since it came out.As a more mature technique,laser texturing has been widely used on the roll,which enhances not only the service life and wear-resistance of its own,but also the forming properties and plating performances of rolled sheet.Inspired by the successful application on the roll surface, laser texturing technique of surface modification and changing shape is firstly used on the die surface of metal plastic forming,which not only enriches the surface treatment techniques of die,but also has important theoretical and engineering significances on the quality requirement of die surface,the enhancement of the die life and forming properties,the device manufacture of the Surface texturing die which are possessed of independent intellectual property rights,and the development of plastic forming and tribology theory.Based on the analysis of laser heating mechanism,heating,melting and partial vaporization mechanisms of material under laser according to machining characteristics of laser texturing is preliminary analyzed in the paper,and the formation mechanism of laser texturing microtopography is also preliminary discussed.Technology experiment is studied on the pulse width,defocusing amount,auxiliary gas pressure,voltage and other parameters on 45 steel of quenching by means of single-factor method,and the influence rules of laser technology parameters on the geometrical dimensions of laser texturing microtopography have been obtained on the basis of data interpretation.Meanwhile,the microstructure and microhardness of laser texturing micro-topography are analyzed and measured,and compared with the microstructure and microhardness of matrix.The result shows that the microstructure of lug boss on the laser texturing region of sample surface is acicular and lath mixed martensites,but the microstructure of matrix is quenching martensites and troostites.Because of the lower hardness of troostites,the microhardness of lug boss has been increased by 30 percent to 50 percent.The strengthening mechanism of laser texturing is discussed in the paper.The results of the research in the paper play an important guidable significance for the in-depth study of laser texturing technology and technical promotion.
