The hydrogeological condition of Shandong Province is comparely complex, andFeicheng, Xinwen, Zibo are all the famous water-rich mining areas in China. Thepaper studies the water-disaster type, water-disaster characteristic and coalmine water-disaster mechanism and discusses the approach to water- disasterprevention and cure in Shandong province. At the basis of the background analysisof regional geological and hydrogeological characteristic of Shandong coal mines,The paper summarizes the mining-coMbed and water-filled property;the paperclassifies the type of the water-disaster and its characteristic through thestatistics of the water-inrush material of Shandong coal mines; At the basis ofthe up "three zones" and down "three zones" theory, coalbed top layer andfloor water-inrush mechanism are studied;The water-disaster approach toprevention and cure of Shandong coal mine is presented from the aspect ofdifferent water-disaster type, regional, major, human-control, environmentprevention and cure.
