Now,rubber products are mainly made by means of pressing with metal moulds.The moulds are very easy to be adhered with rubber in manufactory processing ,so this disadvantage causes quality problem and affects manufactory efficiency.PTFE has excellent anti-adhesive capability,high temperature and chemically stability. In this thesis,PTFE composites are studied as the rubber moulds material,but its hardness and strength are very low.To solve this problem , various suitable fillers are added to PTFE.In this thesis,preparation methods and performance of Nano-reinforced PTFE composites material were studied.Scanning electron microscopy was utilized to examine composites microstructure.Differetial scanning calorinmetry analysis was performed to study the relative heat absorbing capacity of the composites . X-ray diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy were also performed to study crystallinity and interface property of composits.The results show that when the fillers are added to the PTFE resin,the hardness of the PTFE composites is increased and the hardness of the nano-reinforced PTFE is higher than that of the micro-reinforced PTFE composites; the sol-gel process can make the nano-fillers dispersed in the PTFE resin homogeneously , the hardness of composites made by sol-gel process is higher than that made by mechanical mixture process. The crystallinity of the composites decreased with the increase of the content of nano-fillers,and there is hydrogen bond in the interface.
