With metal ions used widely currently, it causes the environmental pollution, but the prices are increased. Therefore, it is significant to extract metal ions from the waste water. As an important branch of the polymer science, the chelating resin is a kind of cross-linked functional polymer material, which can form multi-coordinated complex with metal ions.In this paper, salicylic acid-thiourea resin and nitrogen-type chelating resin were synthesized, and the properties were also researched.According to the Mannich reaction, using salicylic acid, formaldehyde and thiourea as raw materials, hydrochloric acid as activator, the salicylic acid-thiourea resin was synthesized. Its static adsorption properties for Ni2+ were investigated, and the best synthesis technological conditions were confirmed through the infrared spectrum.Using triethylene glycoland as starting agent, diethylene-triamine as crosslinker, nitrogen-type chelating resin was synthesized, its static adsorption properties of Ni2+ were investigated, and the best synthesis prosess conditions were confirmed. The result showed that the adsorption properties for Ni2+ of the nitrogen-type chelating resin were good. The influence of the Ni2+ concentration and the value of pH to the adsorption capacity were studied. The infrared spectrum was also studied. The dynamic study showed that under the given experimental conditions, the adsorption speed of Ni2+ with this nitrogen-type chelating resin conformed to the formula of Jiaodao. The effect of temperature on adsorption velocity was studied, and the liquid membrane diffusion is the master process, and it conformed to the Arrhenius formula.
