Design And Realization Of Pattern Database Of Computerized Flat Knitting Machine

The Computerized Knitting Machine is high technology equipment in knitting industry, which integrates Computer Numerical Control (CNC), electron technology, mechanical design, motor driver technology, knitting process and software engineering. Computerized knitting machine can knit a lot of complex tissue, which cannot be done by manual knitting machine. The pattern database is the key to the computerized knitting machine. Three aspects of knowledge are necessary for successfiil development of the pattern database: the process of knitting, mathematical modeling method and software technology. Therefore, the main task of the dissertation is to develop the new pattern database of the computerized flat knitting machine base on the knitting process of weaving principle and the related theory.This dissertation includes three important parts. The first emphasis of the dissertation is fabric organization classification; the second is fabric simulation; the third is the image retrieval of the pattern database.Firstly, the development of the knitting industrial and domestic and foreign technology of the pattern design system of the flat knitting machine are introduced. According to that, the content, purpose and significance of the paper are brought up.Secondly, the basic concepts of knitting are introduced, the traditional classification of the fabric organization is analyzed. Combining the opinions of experts and actual needs df the application, a reasonable organization classification is given.Thirdly, arm at the two key technologies of simulation and retrieval, looking up relevant technical information at home and abroad, anglicizing and filtering the optimal method, the fabric simulation method based on Pierce loop model and yarn scanning method is brought forward and the integrated query methods combining keyword searching and image retrieval based on the shape is brought to bear. All of these build a solid foundation of the pattern database.Finally, combining all the previous research results, a new pattern database based on the concept of hierarchical design integrates design and retrieval.From the practical application, based on the advanced mathematical modeling thinking and computer technology, this system opens up a new line of thought for the localization of the computer-assisted design software of the knitting machine and has important research and practical significance.
