This thesis consists of the following three chapters:Chapter One:Grape seed is the byproduct of wine making and which accounts for 5%-7% of the raw grape, it contains 14%-17% oil in which linoleic acid is up to 68%-76% and there are many vitamins in the oil. The extractants of grape of grape seed mainly contents proanthocyanidins(PC),which is known as non-toxic high efficient antioxdants. Proanthocyanidins have strong anti-oxidative and radical scavenging activities and its intensity of this effection is 50 times as that of VE, 20 times as that of VC. The properties and the chemical structures of procyanidins, the pharmacology and the extracting methods od procyanidins from the grape seeds are mainly introduced in this part.Chapter Two:The purpose was to develop an efficient process for isolation and purification of natural products, the extraction and refinement of procyanidins were studied from grape seeds. To design selection experiment and L9(33)Orthogonal experiment, the result showed suitable parameters of ethonal circumfluence extraction were attained as follows the concentration of ethonal is 70%, extraction temperature is 50°C, the ratio of material to solvent is 1:7 (g/mL) , extraction time is 30min, extraction for 3 times. Repeat capability of experiment was very good under the optimum conditions and the experimental results were steady-going.Chapter Three:Recent progress in photochromism of polymer containing azobenzene side chain was reviewed in this paper, this review concentrates on the types of polymer system and their photoisomerization. Based on the finding before, The changes of absorbing wavelength of 8 azo-vinyl monomer copolymers synthesised according to documents were detected by spectrophotometer in alcohol. The results showed that the absorbing wavelength of azo-vinyl. monomer significantly affected by the structures of itself. Wave length could chang because of the conjugate system, space effect and substituent group .The absorption spectra of 1 copolymer dissolved 6 solvents respectively were investigated. The results indicated that absorbing wavelength is related to the refractive index n of the solvents .
