The use of coal humic acid is one of the most popular researches in energy engineering for a long time, the gasification of coal humic acid has a realistic and practical significance. We had developed a pyrolysis reactor in consideration of the humic acid characteristics which are low calorific value and not easy to direct combustion in the paper. The influence to the parameters of pyrolysis temperature, maintaining time, moisture content, Ca(OH)2 content,the mixed mode of Ca(OH)2 were discussed, and applying gas chromatography to measure the gas composition and gas yield rate of humic acid and fulvic acid. The results show that Ca(OH)2 had obvious catalysis effect to humic acid catalytic gasification, and the effect of wet mode of catalyst mix was more evident. Under the appropriate condition, gas yield rate reach the maximum, and if under the same conditions fulvic acid had higher gas yield rate than humic acid. The microcrystalline morphological changes of pyrolysis residues have been measured by SEM and XRD, and the microcosmic changes with experimental conditions are obvious. Thermal gravimetric analysis was used to measure the TG/DTG curves of different samples'weight lose to explore the change under temperature-programmed conditions, to reveal its pyrolysis mechanism. Three temperature range of weigh lose of all samples were found, that were the range of losing adsorbing water, the decomposition of group activity, and nuclear components pyrolysis process. Finally, the kinetic parameters of pyrolysis process were calculated, and the impacts to the kinetic parameters were discussed.
