Deeply studied the preparation of activated clay. The bentonite of Nei Menggu,according to the resource characteristics,current situation of research and demangding for the task,offer some important practical value and theory meaning for the development and utilization of bentonite in the Nei Menggu province.The thesis applies lab essential ways of research and new technology of modern mineral testing to research deep process of the bentonite in Nei Menggu province.The thesis includes in three parts: the first part introduces present state and history of bentonite, property of bentonite, the technique of bentonite process. The second introduces the research of preparation of activated clay. The last part introduces the made use of all the exhausted acid in the process.Have carried on overall deeply studying on the mineralogical characteristics of the bentonite ore first, some other methods, such as XRD,IR etc. have also been used, besides using the analytical method of the routine. Mineralogy compositions,mineralogical characteristics,comprehensive utilization and widenned the application have been established the reliable foundation by the means of clear and overall understanding its resource characteristics of Tongliao in Nei Menggu province.According to the current datum and the investigative experiments, this text determined the ultimate technological process of preparation of activated clay。In the research of preparation of activated clay, the mixture ratio of the raw materials, reaction temperature and time, pH and so on which influence the product quality have been investigated. Through the testing of the activated clay and the analysis of XRD,the best craftwork parameters about activated clay prepare were determined, and discusses the craftwork parameters gives the effects to activated clay quality.The optimum technological conditions of preparation of activated clay were confirmed, which were 15%～17% as acidity, 90～100℃as activation temperature, 1:2 as solid—liquid ratio, 4h as activation time.In the disposal of waste acid, using waste acid in numbered circulation to prepare activated clay get a prime result. And finally we distilled Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 which is a upstanding flocculating reagent by evaporation and crystal, from waste acid which can not be reused; and put appropriate quantity CaO into filtrate to prepare rough production of plaster.Through the deep process of Tongliao bentonite, the thesis lay out wonderful application future of Tongliao bentonite. The methods and conclusion, which the thesis have given, will lead to great social value and economical value.
