The guarantee of food and mineral resources is the focus of the Party and the nation. The overlapping areas of main crop and mine production play significant part on this food and mineral resources safety guarantee. And it also plays the roles of food conduction and coal supply. Meanwhile, the conflicts of agricultural and mining industries are intensified in these areas, which directly effect the nation's food security, energy security, ecosystem security, environment and social security, and play significant role on the nation's security strategy system. Therefore, it is of practical and far-reaching significance to pay attention to these overlapping areas of crop and coal production.This study chooses Zoucheng city as the background. Five towns of coal-mining area and four neighboring towns of non-coal-mining area have been selected as researching district. And the ecosystem services value in the region has been studied.Based on the land use survey data of 1996, 2000 and 2005 of the studied area, the paper analyses the land use change from 1996 to 2005. Meanwhile, the ecosystem services value is assessed by using land use ecological value unit table wihch contains 5 parts:①a nalyses the quantitive change characteristics of the ecosystem services value in studied area, and the total value of the ecosystem services value in every town;②a nalyses the contribution rate of land use types in the ecosystem services value;③analyses the spatial difference of the ecosystem services value in studied area;④analyses the ecosystem services functions of the overlapped area of coal and crop(gas regulation, climate regulation, water regulation, soil formation and protection, waste treatment, biological diversity protection, food production, raw materials and recreation cultural, etc.);⑤analyses the relation of ecosystem services value and land use in research area.Based on the study, the paper gets these conclusions:①Due to the greatly increased water body, the total ecosystem services value of coal-mining area is increasing during 1996 and 2005, which indicates that coal-mining area is different from natural ecosystem.②Among these different land use types of these towns in coal-mining area, the contribution rate of cultivated land is the highest, following water body. And the two land types also changes most: the contribution rate of cultivated land is decreasing while that of water body is increasing. On the other hand, there is little change of contribution in the woodland, garden, transportation land and unused land.③The spatial distribution of ecosystem services value has been discussed with taking township as the basic unit. The ecosystem services value in every township was related to its area, that is, the larger the area, the higher ecosystem services value.④In the coal-mining area, waste treatment and soil promotion play a dominant role, particularly, waste treatment function is far greater than other functions. The biggest difference between mining area and non-mining area is water regulation function, which is weak and varies greatly in mining area; while in non- coal-mining area has no changes. In coal-mining area, the biological diversity protection and recreation functions increased slightly, while food production slightly decreases.⑤The structure of the ecosystem services value of coal-mining area towns is simple, mainly supporting by agricultural ecosystem service value and water body ecosystem service value. The structure of land use affects the structure of ecosystem services value. The land use change is the reason of ecosystem services value changes. On the other hand, the change of ecosystem services value directs the land use and forms the new land use structure.
