Nowadays,more and more people realize the health is influenced on the indoor Air quality directly,as the indoor environment is one of the most important spaces for human living.Therefore,the scholars attach more and more importance to the research on disposing polluted air.The mainly problem about pollution of indoor air is caused by the formaldehyde emanated from the indoor decorated material and others. At the present time,the ways of dealing with them(condensation,adsorption,combustion et.al.)for the VOCs of low concentration and big flux have the limitation in technique and economy.So study the ways of how to reclaim or decompose that is one of the important things of our country's environment protection work.With the development of non-thermal plasma technique,non-thermal plasma processing is considered as an effective ways to deal with VOCs,having the advantage of high decomposition efficiency,low energy consumption and simple structure.According to the science study in the past,the kinds of non-thermal plasma oxidation for the removal of VOCs mainly include pulsed corona discharge,dielectric barrier discharge and so on.Many researchers use non-thermal plasma to treat VOCs such as trichloroethylene,acetone,benzene and attain a high decomposition efficiency.The reaction temperature is very near to room temperature,all that indicate plasma technique have the obvious superiority comparing with the conventional technique.Under the foundation of referring to a lot of correlative literature,the author summarizes the latest research general situation,rationale and developmental tendency.Based on the research aim and condition,the experimental equipment and scheme about the degradation of formaldehyde by a high-frequency capacitively coupled plasma(CCP)equipment is designed and some date is gained.The influencing factors and influencing disciplinarians obtained from the experiment date show that some factors influence formaldehyde removal efficiency.Formaldehyde removal efficiency rise when input power increase.With the decrease of inlet concentration,gas flux,gas pressure,reactor diameter and electrode distance, Formaldehyde removal efficiency reduce.The efficiency reach to 97.04%when Formaldehyde is decomposed in high-frequency capacitively coupled plasma(CCP) equipment.Reaction production is analyzed in this experiment,analysis show that the concentration increases when input power is enhanced.The concentration of CO reaches to maximum 6.25mg/m~3 at 70W.The concentration of NO is 56.25mg/m~3 at 110W.
