In this paper, research is focused on the two aspects, the study on the liquid-liquid mass transfer of butanone and dichloromethane in emulsion liquid membrane(ELM), and the study on the liquid-liquid equilibria of butanone and dichloromethane in emulsion liquid membrane(ELM).During the study of the liquid-liquid mass transfer of butanone and dichloromethane in emulsion liquid membrane, some operating parameters are investigated, including the concentration of surfactant, temperature, stirring speed. The results show that there is about 88% of total mass transfer resistance concentrated on the interface due to surfactant monomolecular layer. The liquid-liquid mass transfer cofficient increase with temperature and stirring speed.During the study of the liquid-liquid equilibria of butanone and dichloromethane in emulsion liquid membrane, some operating parameters are investigated, including the concentration of surfactant, temperature, stirring speed. The liquid-liquid distribution coefficient decrease with temperature and the concentration of surfactant, unchanged with stirring speed. It was shown that water solubility enhancements of butanone and dichloromethane was observed. The values of the chemical potential of butanone and dichloromethane in emulsion liquid membrane were 35.22 kJ·mol-1,55.85 kJ·mol-1...
