In practical production and application,Warpage gets more and more attentions from the designers and customers to guarantee plastic product quality.Due to the fairly complicated factors that result in warpage,in this paper,after some properties and other requsts are put forward,the proper material,produce form,injection equipment and mould structure are selected according to the principle of rationality in economy and feasibility in technique,then the reasonable processing parameters are adjusted and determined by the way of the combination of orthogonal design and CAE,and the warpage of plastic part is decreased.In this paper,firstly,nowadays the research status of injection mould's warpage and the study survey of injection mould CAE are introduced,then the main contents are put forward,that is,based on analysis and discussion of injection molding numerical simulation theory,generation mechanism and effect factors of warpage are studied,the mathematic model of Warp CAE is derived and the relations between residual stress and it are analysed,and then research methods of warp are discussed and determined.Secondly,a plastic bucket(147mm×140mm×133mm),the familiarly thin plastic part,is selected as analysis example,The professional molding analysis software Moldflow is used to simulate and analyse each phase where melt flows in cavity such as filling,packing and cooling,the rationality of gating system and coolant system design are guaranteed,the test scheme is arranged by orthogonal design,influence degree of the parameters and their interaction on the warpage is obtained,the optimal scheme is determined preliminarily,the simulation test on single factor's effect is made to study the variety trends that warpge and volumetric shrinkage are affected independently by each factor,combining the results of orthogonal test,the more rational processing parameters are finally determined.In the end,by associating production practice,designing mould,optimizing the process and experimentalizing about the warpage of plastic part,the warpage is decreased.The research results indicate that:the warpage is reduced effectively by the process parameters' adjustment and process optimization in the process of molding the thin-wall plastic parts.Cooling time and melt temperature is the main process parameter which affect warpage,packing time and hold pressure are subordinate factors,correspondingly,the effects of mould temperature and injection time are more inapparent.The warpage of thin-wall plastic parts could be decreased effectively by the combination of orthogonal design and CAE numerical simulation,with high accuracy.
