Amidrazone compounds is a series of compounds which contain nitrogens. Some of its metal cooperates have important application in information-storage, medicine, biology, magnetic material and so on, because of its structural characteristic, physiological activity, response activity and other fine characteristics. Amidrazones compounds have been received a great deal of attention for many years. Therefore, we synthesize these metal compounds of PAHPA and 1,2,4-triozole which are amidrazone containing N-N. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by the IR and element analyses. The structures of these compounds have been determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction method. For partial compounds, the fluorescent properties in liquid were studied. The actions of them on Tetrahymena thermophila growth metabolism were also studied initially by microcalorimetry. The main contents and results in this paper are as follows:1. Two compounds containing-PAH ligand and five compounds containing- PAHAP ligand have been synthesized by solvent diffusion method. These compounds are [(C6H9N4)(C2HO4)] (1), [Cu(C11H11N4O3)Cl2]·H2O (3); [Cu2(PAHAP)Cl2]·H2O (4), [Cu2(PAHAP)(NO3)2(H2O)6](NO3)2 (5), [Cu2(PAHAP)(mal)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (6), {[Cd2(PAHAP)2(mal)(H2O)2(NO3)2·H2O}n(7), [Cd2(PAHAP)2(male)NO3(H2O)2](NO3)2·3H2O (8). Furthermore, compound {[Zn3(C2H2N3)2(C8H4O4)]·2H2O}n (9), which contains 1,2,4-triozole ligand, has been synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis. In addition, a novel ligand (Z)-4-(5-bromo-salicylideneamino)-3-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole-5(4H)-thione (C10H9BrN4OS) (2), has also been isolated. For these compounds, 7 and 9 are coordination polymers.2. The electrochemical properties of Cu(Ⅱ) compound 3, 4, 5 and 6 were studied respectively in methanol and DMF by cyvlic voltomage method,. The results show that these complexes exhibit better electrochemical stability in DMF.3. Emission spectra study on PAHPA and compound 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 in DMF show that compound 7, 8 and 9 have fluorescent emission bands around 422 nm, 424 nm and 423 nm, resectively under 250-350 nm light excitation, but PAHPA and compounds 4 and 5 did not revealed obvious fluorescence activities. The intensity and location of emission spectra are influence by the kind of ligand and the structure of compands. The result means that the compounds 7, 8, 9 are potential luminescent materials.4. The toxic effects of PAHPA and its compounds on Tetrahymena thermphila growth metabolism was studied initially by microcalorimetry. were studied. The results showed that the same concentrations of different compounds had different influence on Tetrahymena thermphila growth metabolism, compound 8 inhibited its growth completely.
