Now in China, many women underwears of foreign brands flood the domestic market and are in a high position, whereas the local brands are in a poor status gradually. Under this situation, the paper suggested that increasing the design and innovative capabilities is a must for China underwear industry, which can obviously help them win the victory in the market competition.Based on the brief retrospection of the eastern and western woman underwear development history, the decorative properties were understood. Then through investigation of woman underwear market, the decorating and functional performances were found out for different ages and professional women. In the same time, by studying the brand decorative designing properties for modern woman underwear and the present decorative design situation of domestic underwear enterprises, the main reasons of design and demand going adrift for domestic underwears are analyzed. Through analyzing the makeup and relative factors of decorative design of women underwears, and combining with examples, some exploration and attempt methods were given. In the end, some opinions and expectations of the development trend for designing women underwears were put forward.
