Research On Decoration Craft Of Traditional Dress In Modern Time & Implication For Modern Woman Design

This article described and analyzed the procession form of women in traditional costumes decorated by researching women in traditional dress in modern times. The object of discussion is the majority of women in modern dress in traditional clothing daily.Materials in this paper are mainly from civil dress of Southern Yangtze University Chuanxi Museum, Hangzhou, Suzhou, China Silk Museum, as well as collection of Li Pinde. Material objects tell us a more intuitive the effect of its own kind of three-dimensional than any other textual materials and pictures, at the same time, they give us a description of its handle and details of sewing technology. In addition, this paper uses the visit of traditional costumes craftsmen, records and other documents including the "good friend", the pictures and text commentary on the calendar and New Year pictures as a supplement.This paper divided the traditional women decoration process in modern times into mosaics, cording, patch, embroidery and brandebourg frag closing. It studied each type of decoration technology content, stitch and specific process steps. Meanwhile, it analyzed the materials that modern women in traditional decoration used and how the different techniques and different materials used on different parts of the clothing.By studying relatively rich tradition of women in modern decoration process, this article presented a brand-new colorful look of China traditional clothing decoration process and provide repair and copy of cultural relics, at the same time, it has brought a hint to fashion design in modern time.
