In order to improve the photocatalytic activity and bactericidal properties, select the ACF to load titanium dioxide, and research the Preparation, modification and its properties of the Activated Carbon Fibre-Supported TiO2 Catalyst:(1) TiO2 was used as catalyst in my experiment ,by many experiment ,we selected activated carbon fibre as carrier, because it had large specific surface area and good adsorption capacity. Using methylene. blue as target pollutant in aqueous solution to optimize TiO2 material and reaction condition increased the photocatalytic oxidation efficiency.(2) Photocatalysts of TiO2 supported on activated carbon fibre were prepared by means of vacuum adsorption-hydrolysis method, using sucrose as a binder between TiO2 and ACF. The TiO2/ACF catalysts were characterized by BET, XRD, and SEM. The photodegradation activity of TiO2/ACF was investigated with tetrachloroethylene (TCE) as a probe molecule. The results indicate that TiO2 can be loaded on the surface of the ACF perfectly through the vacuum absorption-hydrolysis method. The photodegradation yield of TCE in aqueous solution is beyond 90% using the catalyst prepared in optimum method under the UV-visible light irradiation for two hours. The catalyst can be recycled several times without losing its photocatalytic activity.(3) Photocatalysts of TiO2 supported on activated carbon fibre were prepared by means of vacuum adsorption-hydrolysis method, using sucrose as a binder between TiO2 and ACF. The composite Ag-TiO2/ACF photodegradation-antibacterial material were prepared by dipping method with loading silver nanoparticle on TiO2/ACF surface. Ag-TiO2/ACF were characterized by BET, XRD, and SEM. The experiment carried out by using methylene blue as the pollutant object to evaluate the photocatalytic activity, using Escherichia coli as the target to investigate the antibacterial activity . The results indicate that the photodegradation yield of methylene blue in aqueous solution is beyond 97% under the UV-visible light irradiation for two hours. The Ag-TiO2/ACF containing as low as 0.75wt% of silver exhibited strong antibacterial activity.
