With the progress of our society and advancement of living standard, people are paying more and more attention to the healthy environment where they live. Much research has been done on the photocatalytic properties of TiO2 since the metaphase of 1970s. Taking advantage of TiO2 to remove and degrade pollutants has become a very active research direction in the field of environment science. The article introduce systematically the development about nanometer material, photocatalytic oxidation and disfection and antibacterial material. Analyzes the TiO2 preparation methods, the disfection mechanisms, the new antibacterial application development, and the factors of photocatalytic efficiency. Discusses the sol-gel preparation and improvement of photocatalytic activity.In the experiment, the stable TiO2 gel was prepared by sol-gel method with Ti(OC4H9)4. The effects of preparation conditions such as stabilizer, catalyst, the heat treatment and amount of coupled Fe3+ were investigated. Firm transparent anatase TiCO/glass thin films with nano-crystalline have been prepared by the sol-gel processing. The samples were analyzed and tested by XRD, TG-DSC, SEM, UV-vis methods. The TiO2 photocatalytic activity was determined by disinfection experiment. Still further, the research work was described in detail as the following aspects:(1) The preparation of pure TiO2, with the Fe3+ doped of TiO2and TiO2/glass thin filmsThe main component of the prepared solution contained of Ti(OC4H9)4, which served as precursor to prepare homogeneous and transparent solution. With different ratio of water, C4H9OH, Fe2(SO4)3, catalyst, stabilizer were got. Moreover we concluded the best sol-gel process parameters and prepared a series of TiCVglass with dipping -liftting methods.(2) The degradation of organism by the pure TiO2 and the Fe3+ doped of TiO2Photocatalytic degradation of methylene-blue by pure TiO2 and the Fe3+ doped of TiO2 was studied under different conditions. The effect of the amount of coupled Fe3+, calcination temperature, calcination time and the layers of plating film were investigated. And concluded the best process parameters.(3) The research of pure TiO2 and the Fe3+ doped of TiO2 antibacterial activityThrough the bacterial killing rate, studied the antibacterial effect. The effects of antibacterial conditions of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis vra. niger were investigated, such as the amount of coupled Fe3+, different time of sterilize, different lamp-house.(4) The structure and properties of pure TiC>2 and the Fe3+ doped of TiC>2The samples structure was analyzed by XRD, TG-DSC, SEM, UV-vis methods.
