In this dissertation, a sort of novel ferrocene derivatives with two ferrocene units were synthesized by using acylation,reduction and condensation reaction, The structure were characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR, MS and elemental analysis techniques,and the thermal decomposition properties of AP with 5%(weight) novel ferrocene derivatives with two ferrocene units were investigated.By using acylchoride as acylating agents,anhydrous aluminium chloride as catalyst and 1,2-dichloroethane as solvent,acetylferrocene were synthesized. by typical reactions of Clemmenson Reduction, ethylferrocence were obtained. Non-homogenous condensation of ethylferrocence with acetone has been carried out in the presence of methyl alcohol and concent rated sulfuric acid, 2,2-bis(ethylferrocenyl) propane (GFP) was synthesized. Catalysis thermal decomposition propery of AP with target compounds were widely used.oxalyl bisferrocene(Ⅰ)and oxalyl bis(ethylferrocene)(Ⅱ) were synthesized by using oxalyl chloride as acylating agents, anhydrous aluminium chloride and boron trifluoride ethylether complex compound as catalyst. the thermal decomposition properties of AP with 5%(weight) oxalyl bisferrocene and oxalyl bis(ethylferrocene) were investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetry(TG). the result show that the maximum weight loss rate peak temperature of AP is reduced by about 100℃when adding 5%(weight) ferrocene derivatives with two ferrocene units.By typical reactions of Clemmenson Reduction, 1,2-bis(ferrocenyl)-ethane(Ⅲ) and 1,2-bis(ethylferrocene)-ethane (Ⅳ)were obtained. Catalysis thermal decomposition propery of 1,2-bis(ferrocene)-ethane and 1,2-bis(ethylferrocene)-ethane have been investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC ) and thermogravimetry(TG). The decomposition peak temperature of AP was found to be ahead about 130℃when 5%(weight) 1,2-bis(ferrocenyl)-ethanewas using as additives. the result showed that the maximum weight loss rate peak temperature of 1,2-bis(ethylferrocene)-ethane was reduced by about 150℃, it was clearly evident that ferrocene derivatives with two ferrocene units with ethylene has excellent catalysis thermal decomposition in virtue of high iron.
