Research On Innovative Garment Design

In the 21st century, garment has appeared variable in fashion pattern. The awakening and opening awareness of humanization lead to the individual tendency in garment wearing and designing. Innovation is an important feature of art design. Innovative garment design is not only the designers' historical mission but also their social responsibility. The theoretical research on innovative garment design helps designers have a comprehensive understanding of the connotation of innovation from a deep level. It can also help guide their social practice, and design valuable works conforming to the society and the times.This thesis analyzed the history of innovative garment design and the relationships between innovative garment design, society, market, and the traditional culture systematically. Also in this thesis, we delimited the innovative design of garments and analyzed its motives. Innovative garment design is the innovation of fashion factors, life styles and functions. As a general rule, innovation is the historical mission of fashion designs. Different elements in innovative garment design are analyzed in combination of practice from a deep level. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the application of materials in the innovative design and its demand for the talents.Innovative garment design plays a vital role in the people's life and the social development. Through the embedded analysis, research, practice and summary of innovative garment design, I wish this thesis can provide some beneficial help to the future development of the garment industry.
