To address the low utilization rate of mine water and solve the problem of serious waste in Shanxi province,the paper do some research on some unreasonable phenomenon in the current mine water treatment technology,and strive with a breakthrough in the traditional method and get a economic effective method which is suitable for Shanxi mine wastewater.This paper do some test study on mine wastewater with high degree of mineralization for the characteristics that Shanxi mine wastewater have high degree of mineralization(especially sulfate and hardness)and the purpose is to reduce the mine wastewater hardness and sulfate concentrations.Mine wastewater treatment methods commonly used at home and abroad were compared,and the paper using traditional coagulation,sedimentation,filtration methods for a wide range of coagulants for the experiment taking into account the backward economically,rich in resources in Shanxi province.Through technical and economic analysis in coagulant,we find that the C4AF has the characteristics of source convenience,low prices,good efficient and we also find that the joint use with PAM can greatly reduce its consumption. Compared with other coagulants,C4AF has a unique advantage.It is suitable for the coal mine wastewater treatment in Shanxi province and it is worth in the region and expand the applications.C4AF is a low-cost building materials,and is one of the ingredients of cement manufacturing.It is a good kind of water treatment chemicals aider mixing with lime powder.It is a polymer coagulant and have strong affinity to the small particles in mine wastewater,it can adsorb sulfate in mine wastewater at the same time,polymerizes the sulfate into the gel group with large surface area and finally precipitation in the water,so as to achieve the purpose of removal of suspended solids,turbidity,color and salts.Experiment is divided into two parts(static and dynamic tests of the pilot).In static tests part,we selected pharmacy a(C4AF+Ca(OH)2) in accordance with its different components of a mixture which samples respectively are 400mg/L of[SO42-],1500 mg/L of total hardness and 1000mg/L of[SO42-],1500 mg/L of total hardness were studied.From the test,we can get the following conclusions:it has good absorb effect to the mine water with high degree of mineralization when the value of C4AF: Ca(OH)2 is 1.5:1.At the same time,the impact factors of the coagulant selected including temperature,PH,sedimentation time are analyzed,and we get the best dosage of coagulant a2 in the best possible conditions.At the same time the PAC is compared as a coagulant selection.For dynamic test part,we do simulation test use coagulation filtering methods on the Malan mine wastewater.Through the systematic experiments of the two pharmaceutical and the comparison of economic and technical,we ultimately drew the following conclusions:the new pharmaceutical a2 (C4AF+Ca(OH)2+PAM)has good technically effect and low price on the basis of rich mineral resources in Shanxi province,for that it's an effective pharmaceutical which is suitable for economic development of Shanxi Province,and it is worth to be used and promoted.
